Gold Magento partner agency badly mismanaged the project due to unfortunate staffing issues causing high turnover on the projec.
Prior to Access team takeover, the PMs changed twice and the solutions architect left the company early in the project. The developer did not receive the guidance and support he needed and lost motivation. The project scope was severely underestimated and remained off-track months after the development kick-off. The project was 6 months behind the schedule with virtually no business requirements available.
Access team completely took over the project. Activities included project discovery, solution architecture, technical architecture, project management, and Magento development.
The website was successfully launched under a very intense schedule after rebuilding from scratch or extensively modifying most of the project codebase and functionality. The relationship between the Agency and the Client was salvaged and they stayed with the Agency for implementation of the 2nd phase of the project.
