A leading provider of electronic parts and repair services since 2003, maintains a vast inventory of over 800,000 unique control system components. The company faced significant challenges with their legacy e-commerce platform, including an ERP system that was not linked to their existing eCommerce portal, inefficient product management of their 800,000+ SKUs, and inconsistent order processing, which hindered their ability to serve B2B customers effectively.

Approach / Work done

We implemented a comprehensive B2B e-commerce solution based on Adobe Commerce with custom integrations to transform their digital presence. Key developments included:

  • Integration of Acumatica ERP for bi-directional synchronization of products, inventory, orders, inventory data and more
  • Extended Adobe Commerce to include a custom product information management module with unique parent-child structure for different product conditions
  • Enhanced B2B functionality with customized workflow for quote requests
  • Implementation of Algolia search solution with lots of customizations to support highly complex and nuanced search requirements
  • Multi-channel selling integration with eBay and Google Shopping via GoDataFeed requiring custom data import/export logic
  • Customized Hyva theme implementation with specialized UI components for product conditions and availability

Project Results

The solution has streamlined product discovery across their extensive 800,000+ SKU catalog, enabled real-time inventory synchronization, and established a robust B2B account management system.
